چکیده

The present study addresses three concerns: (1) presents the areal classification of Ethiosemitic languages; (2) identifies major determinants distance among (3) challenges previous genealogical classifications languages. To address these objectives, cluster analyses were performed on randomly selected 147 word lists. Multidimensional scaling was employed for validation. phonetic and lexical matrices show that languages can be classified into six groups: {Chaha, Gura, Gumer, Ezha, Mesqan, Muher}, {Amharic, Argobba}, {Endegagn, Inor, Gyeto}, {Wolane, Silt'e, Zay}, {Dobbi, Kistane}, {Ge'ez, Tigrigna, Tigre}.
